Hopscotch

A NEW WAY TO MAKE AWARE ABOUT PRESERVATION OF OUR HERITAGE

DESCRIPTION

In this project, there are 8 steps as in hopscotch. We will play this game.
First step: we are going to introduce ourselves and focus on integration.
Second step: we are going to learn about our landmarks and those belonging to our partners.
Third step: we are going to discover problems related to our monuments. And then we are going to think about possible solutions.
Fourth step:  we are going to focus on the pollution of monuments and how to preserve them.
Fifth step: we are going to visit museums or archaeological sites and to work on questionnaires about art and archaeology.
Sixth step: we are going to produce a copy of the monument with recycled material together.
Seventh step: we are going to do an exhibition.
Finally, the evaluation of the project will be done. Our students will get to heaven at last.

AIMS

To raise cultural and historical awareness.
To improve the vehicular language English.
To help preserve monuments or landmarks in our country.
To enjoy while playing hopscotch.
To make some interaction videos or do interviews about this subject.
To use ICT tools.

 

WORK PROCESS

September: first step, introduction
October: second step, the creation of international groups.
November: third step, problems, and solutions about monuments
December: fourth step, how to preserve monuments from pollution.
January: the fifth step, we will visit museums and we will do some questionnaires about art and archaeology.
February: the sixth step, we will design and prepare a copy of our monuments with recycled material.
March:  seventh step, exhibition time.
April: eighth step, evaluation.

EXPECTED RESULTS

Our students will have a better cultural awareness historical awareness of our landmarks. Our students will improve the vehicular foreign language. Our students will help solve the preservation of monuments or landmarks in our countries. Our students will enjoy while playing hopscotch. Our students will make some interaction videos or interviews about this subject. Our students will be more proficient in using ICT tools.
